Orgenda

Org-mode agenda, native on iPhone and iPad.

Orgenda keeps your agenda and TODOs in plain-text .org files, read and edited natively on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Pick a folder—on-device, iCloud Drive, or elsewhere—and Orgenda works with the files already there: no import step, no proprietary database.

It is not a full Emacs, and doesn’t try to be. Orgenda covers the everyday org-mode subset: headlines, custom TODO keywords, priorities, scheduled dates and deadlines, tags, and habits, wrapped in a touch-friendly agenda and editor.

Agenda

A daily timeline brings together scheduled items, deadlines, and active timestamps from across your .org files, with Today through longer spans, a now marker, and pull-to-refresh. An all-todos list, habits view, and search cover the wider picture.

Keywords, priorities, and habits

Custom TODO keywords (for example TODO / NEXT / WAIT / DONE), [#A][#D] priorities, and tags, each colour-coded. Habits use org :STYLE: habit: with streak and consistency tracking.

Calendar and Reminders

Overlay selected Apple Calendars on the agenda, optionally write them to calendar.org for Emacs, and publish org headlines out to dedicated Apple Calendars when you want the reverse. Reminders can auto-import from one list into your capture file as TODOs—an inbox drain, not a live overlay.

Widget, Watch, and Share

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show up-next or todos by keyword. An Apple Watch app and complications keep today on your wrist. The share extension adds text from other apps straight into Orgenda; Quick Actions jump to a new agenda item, to-do, or habit.

Notifications

Optional lead-time alerts for scheduled tasks, deadlines, and active timestamps, so nothing slips just because it’s in a text file.

Look and feel

Light and dark themes with Yakshaven fonts sized for reading plain-text agendas comfortably on a phone screen.

Sync and storage

Files stay in the format you already use: on-device or in iCloud Drive, in a folder you choose. Nothing is locked into Orgenda’s own format.

Privacy

No account, no analytics, no ads. Calendar and Reminders access follows Apple’s permission prompts and only feeds your own agenda. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
